A LIVING SACRIFICE TO GOD

Dearly beloved,

During the time of the Old Testament, animals and birds were offered as sacrifices to God, and through that, the sins of the one who offered the sacrifice were forgiven.

But after Lord Jesus Christ offered His body as a living sacrifice on the cross, the animal sacrifice became null and void. His holy blood cleanses you and you become holy.

Even today, the Lord wants you to offer yourself as a living sacrifice for Him so that you can have life in your body (Romans 12:1).

Offering yourself as a living sacrifice is nothing but leading a holy life in this evil world which is full of lust, treachery and sorrow. When you live for the Lord and reflect His love in your life, you are offering yourself as a living sacrifice for Him. When you do that, the Lord will certainly reward you and you shall talk with Him face to face. Your life will become very pleasant.

Although Job had to go through so many afflictions and losses in life, he did not sin. He just said, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised” (Job 1:21). He clung on to God saying, “I myself will see Him with my own eyes – I, and not another” (Job 19:27).

Hence the Lord Himself came in search of him and spoke to him face to face. He healed him completely and restored all that he had lost. He made everyone come in search of him and honoured him. The Lord gave him twice as much he had before (Job 42:10-17).

Apostle Paul says, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship" (Romans 12:1). Accordingly, submit yourself completely to the will of God. Then He will fulfill His will in your life. He will also bless you doublefold.

GROW IN HOLINESS

Dearly beloved,

In the Bible, we read that God chose a young man called Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land after the death of Moses.

When the Israelites Crossed the Jordan River, they camped at a place called Gilgal. This was the place where Joshua sanctified himself along with all the armies of Israel.

In Joshua Chapter 10, we read that God gave Joshua and his men a great victory over their enemies. Yet he did not stay behind to celebrate the victory that the Lord gave him, but came back to Gilgal, the place of sanctification. The Bible says, “Then Joshua returned with all Israel to the camp at Gilgal” (Joshua 10:15). He and his men marched all night long to that place of sanctification to pray again; they honoured the Lord. Desiring sanctification, they returned to the place that was pleasing to the Lord.

Thus should you guard yourself holy.

We read in Revelation 22:11,12: “Let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy. "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.” The Lord Jesus says, Behold, I am coming quickly. He who is holy, let him be holy still. I want to command still more blessings…” Today, open your heart to the Lord and return to holiness.

In Joshua 3:5, Joshua tells the Israelites, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you." Holiness is turning to God, waiting at His feet and obeying His Word, and this is what I have learnt. I obey the Lord when He speaks to me. The Holy Spirit gives me the grace to do this. We need to leave the worldly desires, wait at His feet and be truthful and faithful in our deeds, words and thoughts in order to obey Him. The Holy Spirit will help us in our weakness (Romans 8:26).

The Lord says, "Be holy, because I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). He is holy in nature and expects us to be holy since we are His children and belong to Him. When we fear Him and walk in the path of holiness, He will be our strong refuge; we shall have everlasting protection under His mighty hand.

• There will be new alignment of stars in the sky ( As a star appeared when the Lord Jesus was born)
• New economies and new economic powers will emerge in the world
• There will be new trade avenues and new alignment of countries for trade
• 2014 – April 6th – Russia leading the way for Israel and its neighbouring enemy countries to make peace with each other to start business relations. This will begin. (Is 19: 23,24,25)
• There will be new commodities and currencies aligning for buying and selling in the world
• Through this there will be peace deals in the world between countries that were at war or against each other
• There will be new policies in the leadership of the economic powers
• The Lord will give new businesses and new technologies to His people who are led by the Spirit this year. Also their families will be blessed with new blessings this year.
• God’s ministries will enter into new projects which will be accomplished with God’s favour and bring great increase.
• World economic powers will come together to form a new front and a new conglomeration to fight terrorism. Nations will align together for the sake of peace. No peace until the Lord Jesus the Prince of peace returns
• The Justice system of the world will be shaken
• There will be breakthrough in the travel technology
• In the realm of medicine there will be new breakthrough in managing pain and pain relief. It will bring great advancements in the realm of healing wounds.
• Disintegration of existing political and business empires to form new conglomerates

Prophecies for India

• Greater number of Jobs will be created in the realm of technologies.
• Interest rates will increase. Buying power will decrease. Deficiency in the availability of certain commodities relating to basic needs
• New deceptions to entice the youth to decay spiritually and morally shall rise thro' new technology. But there will be an army of youth to proclaim God's righteousness thro' their sacrifice and obedience. They shall shine being bold as a lion doing miracles.
• Those who obey my commands alone shall be exalted in the country. They will not be tail but the head. I will not rest until this is accomplished
• There will be overall peace across the land
• God's favour will come upon the land with His generosity and blessings showered wherever the gospel has been preached

Spiritual Realm

• Year of making peace with God
• The Spirit of sanctification will set in. It will lead to growth in one's personal life. Rev. 22:11 & 12. God will show the difference between those who serve him and those who do not.
• There have been multitudes who have been prayerfully waiting for the Lord. Their hearts have been prepared to receive him. Blessings will come upon them this year in double measure.
• House of Prayer will become places of incense to God. They shall prosper and be in peace. They shall be a refuge to all people.
• Philanthropy will rise in the ministries
• The Holy Spirit will begin to be poured upon the people of Israel. There shall be repentance unto salvation
• As Holy Spirit is poured upon Israel. "I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath Blood and fire and vapor of smoke (Acts 2:19)" will be seen

OPEN YOUR HEART TO JESUS!

The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.    (1 John 3:8)

My dearly Beloved

Our heart is the most affected area of our body, especially, if someone has wronged us by their words, actions and wicked ways. This even happens within the body of Christ. Satan uses people to hurt us and wound our hearts as he knows that is the most sensitive area. People generally draw back or harden their hearts when they are hurt by wicked people. We are heartbroken when we see these very wicked people prosper before our eyes. The devil uses every weapon he has to pull us down and away from the promises and will of God. But we can turn this around as well and make the devil flee from us.

Just uttering the name of Jesus will not make the devil run away. We need to carry Jesus in our hearts as the devil recognizes and acknowledges that He is God. You will have God’s protection when you honor God through your body and live a righteous life. The devil will think twice about venturing anywhere near you.

Soon after the demise of my father Bro. Dhinakaran, I had scheduled to go to Nagercoil (Tamil Nadu) to conduct the Jesus Calls Prayer Festival. With a heavy heart, I asked the Lord to accompany me because my father was no longer with us. On the very first day of the meeting, a crowd of 40,000 people had gathered. When I began to sing the theme song of ‘Jesus Calls,’ a woman possessed by an evil spirit began to scream. She pointed out to the stage and shouted, “The Lord Jesus is standing near Bro. Paul Dhinakaran.” Everyone sat stunned when she said this.

Beloved, today, if you have not yet committed your life to Jesus, and if you have been just telling, “I know Jesus is God,’ open your heart to Him. It is not enough to strive hard. If you love Jesus and carry Him in your heart in righteousness before Him, He will bless you with a hundredfold blessing. Do not let the devil corrupt your heart and mind. Let the Lord's presence be always with you wherever you go. With the Lord Jesus always with you, you can do exploits for Him and bring the kingdom of God to Earth.

YOU CAN OVERCOME!

My dearly Beloved

In these last days, Satan has two primary motivations, one to exact revenge on God by wreaking havoc on God’s children and the other to incapacitate the ability of God’s children to overcome him. The blood of Jesus covers us and neither Satan nor his demons can come anywhere near us. His worst nightmare is being overcome by measly mortals like us.

The Bible says in Matthew 13:19 "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.” Satan is out to destroy the testimony of anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. However, according to I John 4:4, Jesus Christ who is in you is greater and mightier than he who is in the world. Every aspect and area of your life needs to be rooted in Jesus. Yes, the battle is tough but when you commit yourself to living righteously in the fear of God, no evil power on this Earth or elsewhere can snatch the reward which has been ordained to you.

Beloved, Satan hates to let go of a captive. He also hates being exposed as a liar. The only way is to wise up and fortify your lives by being obedient to God and His word, trust in Him and focus on Him completely. The Lord is the sovereign authority over all powers and principalities. He is God Most high. Hold on to His word in Revelation 12:11, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”

POWER IN EXALTATION!

The world has moved on to gadgets, technology and many more complicated devices to make life easy for people. But life has only become more difficult and expensive. Yes, technology helps in reading the Bible more conveniently, checking the internet for daily blessings and to gather more information about the Lord. But one thing we forget is the One who gave His life for us is alive. Prayer is how we can reach Him and praise is what can release His blessings on us. All the devices that we make today is by His wisdom.

Prayer takes us to the presence of the Almighty God, it dispels the darkness in our hearts and brings light into our lives. It is a bridge between us and God. Praise makes the hand of God move in our lives. Are you wondering how you can blend prayer and praise together? What kind of prayer and praise can open the storehouses of heaven? I would like to share with you certain thoughts to help you in this aspect. When you exalt God and glorify Him by telling, "God I praise you! God I magnify you". The bible says in Psalm 22:3, -the Lord God who dwells amidst praises, who listens to the fruit of our lips, would descend unto us to acknowledge our sacrifice of praise". Every bondage and chain of the Satan that has bound you for years on end will be broken on their own. This is what happened when Paul and Silas, the two servants of God, praised Him in the prison.

A practical example would be of a snack called "Hamburger". It is made of delicious and tasty vegetarian non-vegetarian foodstuff sandwiched between two slices of bread. When you eat tasteless slices of bread with these relishing food stuff kept in the middle along sauce, the hamburger becomes a great treat. In the same way when praise is infused with prayer, it becomes a sweet fragrance to the Lord and He is overjoyed and pleased with His children.

Beloved, if you want to be blessed everyday and be a blessing to others, praise the Lord and pray to Him relentlessly in the midst of afflictions, trials and tribulations. The Lord will move the mountains and fight every battle for you making you victorious in every endeavor. Distress, agony and sorrow will be a thing of the past. A new beginning, dominion power and blessings will follow you. His mercy and goodness will be your portion forever.

My dearly Beloved

How often do we get caught in the snares of worldly pleasures that we find so difficult to shrug off later? It binds our minds like a vicious grip. No matter how hard you try to break off the worldly ties, it follows you like the Anaconda. However, there is a way out, my beloved. You can be set free from all the worldly desires completely.

The answer is right here for you in the Bible verse of Romans 5:5 which says, ”The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us”. The downpour of God’s love into our hearts, transforms us from the inside out. Your love for God will be so deep and profound that no matter what grief or weakness may come your way, you stay completely rooted in the Lord. No storm or wind can move you, and you become a strong rock like the Lord Jesus.

Citing an instance in my life, let me tell you how the Lord’s love transformed me totally. When I was a young man, and a first year B.Sc. student of Loyola College, my heart was far away from the Lord. But towards the end of the first year, God metamorphosed me into His child. The following year, when the time to go back to same college came, I was afraid my old company of friends would drag me back into the same old vices. I implored to the Lord to help me to remain as His child. In answer to my cry, the Lord filled my heart with His Holy Spirit who strengthened me. Every morning, when I rode to the college on my bicycle, many desires in the form of the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride of life (I John 2: 16) would assail me. I would cry out to the Lord again, and He would fill me with the Holy Spirit. The comforting thought that I was no more the worldly child of the devil but belonged completely to the Lord would cross my mind and heart. Thus, the Lord became my shield and kept me holy. He enabled me to shine in the sight of all as His child in the same college. He helped me to excel in my studies and honored me as well.

Dear ones, when we go to college or work, because of the lusts which emerge within us, many kinds of temptations, distresses, tribulations and travails torment us. Yet in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. Remember beloved, nothing shall separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39). 1 John 4:4 says, "He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world." He is the One who conquered temptations and crushed Satan under His feet (Romans 16:20) for you. His immense love fills you with His grace to cling to Him and say, "I belong to God." The result, victory and honor come seeking you, what’s more "Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake" (Isaiah 54:15), and will bow down before you. You’ll receive double for your trouble.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, thank You for Your wonderful love. I ask you to cleanse me with Your blood and uproot everything of the world within me completely. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and lead me in Your holy and righteous way. Make me Your child forever. Let Your perfect will be done in my life. Mould me, break me, and transform me that I may follow You all the days of my life. O shepherd of my soul, I give You full control. Take me and use me for Your glory. Bless You Lord!
