JESUS HEALS YOU

By Paul Dinakaran

Dearly beloved,

The Bible says, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

The Lord specially told me, “I am going to heal My children.” Yes, today, Lord Jesus is going to heal you who are tormented by sickness. For this cause, He submitted Himself to suffering and offered Himself as a living sacrifice (Hebrews 2:9).

He was whipped and His body was torn by the iron hooks attached to the whip. The crown of thorns pierced and tore His head. His hands and legs were nailed. Even today, the stripes of the wounds are still there in His body. He touches us and heals our wounds and sicknesses with His stripes.

Let us meditate on what we should do to receive this miraculous healing from Lord Jesus:

The Bible says, “Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven” (James 5:16).

There are various reasons for sickness. It is caused by germs. It occurs on account of bad habits such as alcoholism and smoking. The pain develops due to bone problems as a result of aging. It is also caused by black magic done against one another. One of the significant reasons of sickness is the failure to forgive the trespasses of one another.

A rich lady deceitfully took a portion of her brother’s property. The brother wallowed in poverty and pleaded with her to give him his due, but she never budged. Ultimately, the lady started suffering from a severe asthmatic attack and died of that disease.

The Bible says, “Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer” (I John 3:15).

The Scripture says, “Therefore confess your sins...so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Dearly beloved, confess your sins and pray for them to be forgiven in order to be healed. The Bible says that the Lord will heed the fervent prayer of the person who seeks His forgiveness and heal him.
