The
National Prayer Alliance initiated by the Dhinakarans conducted a 72 Hours
continuous Prayers in 72 places in India - Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata,
Pune, Bangalore, Trivandrum and in many other places to pray for the
forthcoming Parliament elections. This prayer started on 29th January, 2014 at
6.00 pm and concluded on 1st February, 2014, 6.00 p.m.
Dr. Paul
Dhinakaran, Founder of the Jesus Calls ministries addressed the gathering and
along with him several pastors prayed for the elections to take place in a
peaceful way, for a good government to be established in the centre, for people
in the nation to live well and finally he prayed for the thousands who had come
for the meeting.
GOD’S MESSAGE
DELIVERED BY DR. PAUL DHINAKARAN:
The will
of God is for us to pray for everyone, especially for those in authority. When
we do so, we shall live in peace. He wants everybody to be saved and come to
His saving knowledge. Our nation has to be blessed and for that, the Lord is
looking for a person who would cry out to Him at the threshold. If we hold onto
God praying and asking Him to bless the nation, for everybody to be saved and
His name to be glorified in the nation, He will gladly do so.
It is the
glorious Holy Spirit who is living in us and has the power of resurrection will
make us pray for the nation. Then we will witness glorious years ahead in our
lives; our church and our ministry will witness a glorious phase. This 72 hours
chain fasting and prayer will enable every servant of God, his ministry to enter
into a new phase. For God to live in us, He wants to build a temple in the
hearts of all the people of the world. God’s will has to be perfected in our
nation India and also in other nations of the world. It is not building one
temple but 1.2 billion temples of God. This is the plan of God for the nation
after the elections 2014. A good governance will come for millions of people to
become the temples of God and for God’s authority to come on earth.
For this
God makes us rise up in the Holy Spirit and bring God’s will into the nation.
He binds the power of authorities; He binds the evil in the authorities and
opens God's will into the nation. God needs us the temple of the Holy Spirit to
rise up in the Holy Spirit and bring God’s governance in the nation, even to
the government. God is going to empower us to bring His kingdom into the
nation. Tribulations will come but in all these things, we will be made more
than conquerors.
"Who
shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution
or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your
sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be
slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through
him who loved us" (Romans 8:35-37)
The Holy
Spirit will pour the love of God in our hearts and through His love we will be
more than conquerors. The Bible says, "And hope does not put us to
shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy
Spirit, who has been given to us" (Romans 5:5).
So hold
onto the Word of God through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will make
intercessions for us and it shall save us from all calamities. In Joshua 3:5 we
read, "Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among
you." Likewise, let’s sanctify ourselves and boldly confess “not My will,
but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:42). So fasting and praying in the Holy Spirit is
the only way to be delivered from the tribulations. Through the 72 hours
prayer, the governance of India will be a glorious one.
These
prayer points are for you to pray fervently and continuously until the election
get over.
