My dearly Beloved
In these last days, Satan has two primary motivations, one to exact revenge on God by wreaking havoc on God’s children and the other to incapacitate the ability of God’s children to overcome him. The blood of Jesus covers us and neither Satan nor his demons can come anywhere near us. His worst nightmare is being overcome by measly mortals like us.
The Bible says in Matthew 13:19 "When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.” Satan is out to destroy the testimony of anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. However, according to I John 4:4, Jesus Christ who is in you is greater and mightier than he who is in the world. Every aspect and area of your life needs to be rooted in Jesus. Yes, the battle is tough but when you commit yourself to living righteously in the fear of God, no evil power on this Earth or elsewhere can snatch the reward which has been ordained to you.
Beloved, Satan hates to let go of a captive. He also hates being exposed as a liar. The only way is to wise up and fortify your lives by being obedient to God and His word, trust in Him and focus on Him completely. The Lord is the sovereign authority over all powers and principalities. He is God Most high. Hold on to His word in Revelation 12:11, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…”

The world has moved on to gadgets, technology and many more complicated devices to make life easy for people. But life has only become more difficult and expensive. Yes, technology helps in reading the Bible more conveniently, checking the internet for daily blessings and to gather more information about the Lord. But one thing we forget is the One who gave His life for us is alive. Prayer is how we can reach Him and praise is what can release His blessings on us. All the devices that we make today is by His wisdom.
Prayer takes us to the presence of the Almighty God, it dispels the darkness in our hearts and brings light into our lives. It is a bridge between us and God. Praise makes the hand of God move in our lives. Are you wondering how you can blend prayer and praise together? What kind of prayer and praise can open the storehouses of heaven? I would like to share with you certain thoughts to help you in this aspect. When you exalt God and glorify Him by telling, "God I praise you! God I magnify you". The bible says in Psalm 22:3, -the Lord God who dwells amidst praises, who listens to the fruit of our lips, would descend unto us to acknowledge our sacrifice of praise". Every bondage and chain of the Satan that has bound you for years on end will be broken on their own. This is what happened when Paul and Silas, the two servants of God, praised Him in the prison.
A practical example would be of a snack called "Hamburger". It is made of delicious and tasty vegetarian non-vegetarian foodstuff sandwiched between two slices of bread. When you eat tasteless slices of bread with these relishing food stuff kept in the middle along sauce, the hamburger becomes a great treat. In the same way when praise is infused with prayer, it becomes a sweet fragrance to the Lord and He is overjoyed and pleased with His children.
Beloved, if you want to be blessed everyday and be a blessing to others, praise the Lord and pray to Him relentlessly in the midst of afflictions, trials and tribulations. The Lord will move the mountains and fight every battle for you making you victorious in every endeavor. Distress, agony and sorrow will be a thing of the past. A new beginning, dominion power and blessings will follow you. His mercy and goodness will be your portion forever.

Count the Cost

It
isn't easy to be a Christian—that is, a committed, growing Christian. It costs
to follow Jesus. But it costs a lot more not to.
Jesus said to His disciples, "If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you" (Luke 15:18–19).
This is hard to accept if you have been a popular person throughout your life and then become a Christian. You try to be loving and compassionate and helpful, and then people find out that you're a Christian. So they give you a difficult time or make fun of you or spread lies about you. You think, This isn't fair. I am so sweet and nice. Maybe you are. But the fact is that now you are a representative of Jesus. And effectively you will be treated as He was treated. The Bible says, "Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution" (2 Timothy 3:12).
You don't want to decide to follow Jesus on a whim, like making an impulse purchase at the store. Retailers count on you to think, Look at all this stuff! I don't even know what this is, but I'm buying it.
When you decide to follow Christ, however, you need to count the cost. Jesus counted the cost when He went to the cross for you. He gave His life so you can be forgiven of your sin, so you can know that you will go to heaven when you die.
He counted the cost for you. Will you count the cost and follow Him?

Have you ever been to a live music concert where your favorite singer is belting out songs for you? How is the atmosphere? All charged up right? Then why does the church remain tight-lipped and modest when it comes to shouting out praises to their Lord and Savior, the One who gave up His life for you. The Almighty God smiles down from heaven when he hears His children raising their voices and singing praises to Him. Praise and worship touches the tender heart of our Creator.
The chapter of Isaiah 12 in the Bible is so wonderful with every verse in this chapter revealing a miracle and blessing. Our modest and reasoning minds restrict us from opening our mouths and declaring the praises of God loudly. But like David when we break out in mad exuberance and shout out aloud praises to the One worthy of them, heaven opens up and the unbelievable happens-miracles galore.
“You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3)
When the sound of our praises reach the throne of God, it can move Him to come right down here in our midst. Several years ago, when I was not spiritually strong, while my husband was late in coming back home from the office, I decided to kneel down and sing. I sang some old hymns which my mother had taught me, when I was a child and began to commune with the Lord. Particularly, when I sang, “What a friend we have in Jesus” with thanksgiving, the presence of God filled me and I felt an electric shock going through my body from head to foot.
Dearly beloved, do you know the Holy Spirit is so overjoyed and can even put new words into your mouth to sing praises to the Lord Jehovah? You tap the very nerve of the living God and the result, the walls of Jericho that kept you from crossing over to the restful side breaks down. You can achieve far more in your daily work and life with a song of praise in Your mouth that will infect every unbelieving soul around you to sing glory to the God they do not know. You can touch heaven and change the Earth in a moment.
